Donations by Third Parties

The "Regulation on the Acceptance of Presents, Rewards, and other Privileges (Benefits) of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Presents Regulation)" applies to all employees of KIT with reference to benefits by third parties and shall serve to protect the employees against attempts of manipulation and to support them in identifying risks of corruption at an early stage and preventing violations of law. In this way, legal certainty and clarity as well as transparency are to be created for KIT employees and clear and standardized proceedings are to be ensured at KIT. In this context, the "Guideline for the Handling and Billing of Hospitality within and outside KIT" is also of particular importance.
