Data protection
Everyone has the right to decide for themselves on the disclosure and use of their personal data. This right to informational self-determination is a special manifestation of the general right of personality enshrined in the German Basic Constitutional Law (Grundgesetz - GG) in accordance with Art. 2 Para. 1 in conjunction with Art. 1 Para. 1 GG. The purpose of data protection is to protect individuals from having their fundamental right to informational self-determination violated. Any processing of personal data is generally prohibited unless it is permitted by law or the consent of the data subject has been obtained.
