Secondary Employment

Regulations governing secondary employments of civil servants are complemented by special regulations for professors. In principle, all secondary employments that are not subject to approval due to special legal provisions still require prior approval by KIT´s Human Resources Business Unit (PSE, Personalservice). Retroactive approval is not permitted. Execution of a secondary employment without approval or report represents a violation of obligations under civil service law and may have disciplinary consequences. Non-tariff professors are subject to the regulations valid for university professors having a civil servant status.
