The alumni survey is one of our instruments of quality assurance and quality development in the field of studies and teaching.

At regular intervals, KIT asks its alumnae and alumni about their professional progress. For us, this is an important indication of whether KIT is on the right track regarding the orientation of its teaching and study programs and if there is potential for optimization.
The survey - commissioned by the KIT Executive Board - is conducted online as part of a state-wide study in cooperation with other universities in Baden-Württemberg.

The survey, which can be completed in about 20 minutes, focuses in particular on the following topics:

  • Retrospective assessment of the studies at KIT
  • Current occupational and professional fields
  • Relationship between competencies acquired during studies and those needed in professional life.

The data will be used exclusively for scientific purposes and within the framework of quality management at KIT. Participation in the survey is voluntary.

The results of past graduate surveys can be found on our page about surveys on studies and teaching at KIT.

Do you have any questions or suggestions regarding the graduate survey?
